Marco Riha

Originally from Austria, I started my long creative journey 25 years ago in Sri Lanka. As a self-taught artist I kept on painting and travelling for some years until I found in Mexico my creative home base. The majority of my images are born out of an automatic painting technique.

During my symbolic period, I painted with water colors and crayons on paper, followed by a long fascination with oils on canvas. This period includes therapeutic releases, first screams in color and inner and outer travel logs.
