Karin Sebelin is a contemporary expressionist artist whose vibrant paintings bring color, warmth, and character to modern interiors. Based in Rastdorf, Northern Germany, she creates original artworks that transform spaces and inspire everyday living.
Following a successful career as an author, trust expert, and personal branding coach, Karin now dedicates herself entirely to painting.
Her work is inspired by the great Expressionists - including Gabriele Münter, Marianne von Werefkin, Wassily Kandinsky, Alexej von Jawlensky, Paul Klee, August Macke, Hermann Max Pechstein, Karl Schmidt-Rottluff, and Paul Gauguin - while expressing a distinctive artistic voice that is unmistakably her own.
Working intuitively, Karin embraces spontaneity, expressive brushstrokes, and fearless color. Her collections range from abstract landscapes and imagined Nordic scenes to contemporary still lifes and geometric compositions. It is a unique and very special piece made of recycled wooden cork fabric and all handmade with elements extracted from nature.
