Maria Fatjó Parés (Bali) - Spain

Maria Fatjó Parés holds a degree in Communication Sciences (Advertising and Public Relations) from Universitat Ramon Llull. As a painter, she is self-taught and continues to develop her artistic style through practice and experimentation, working primarily with oil on canvas. Her main artistic inspiration comes from Pere Torné-Esquius (1879–1936), particularly a series of eleven paintings depicting childhood, exhibited at Sala Parés in Barcelona between 2006 and 2007. These works captivated her because of their ability to appeal to both children and adults. Inspired by this experience, Maria has developed her own distinctive style, seeking to create paintings that connect with audiences of all ages. Her artistic goal is to produce accessible, engaging art that children and adults can appreciate and enjoy together—art for everyone.
